Integration of all IT Infrastructure for a Large Mine in South America ($6bn acquisition).  

Including:

  • Implementation of a new Data Centre

  • Establishing offices in a number of new locations

  • Establishing new core IT services - Internet, Email, ERP, Voice and Video


This was a complex change of control program of work that required meticulous program management to ensure successful delivery within the prescribed timeframe and budget. The work also included delivery of infrastructure, and application integration between both the newly acquired site and the parent company.

A multi-million-dollar project budget and managing technical teams spanning Australia and South America, the project was a resounding success and established IT as the benchmark for project delivery across the entire company.

Greenfield site equipped for the future

A critical project central to the business strategy for this mid-tier Miner, this project saw the establishment  of ICT infrastructure for a flagship underground Zinc mine in QLD. The Program of work included:

  • A new 'containerised' Data Centre,

  • Establishing Wi-Fi and TV services for a new camp

  • The latest in IT/OT convergence for a new Process Control Network including a SCADA deployment on virtualised infrastructure.

A high profile and demanding program of work that required management of a multi-million-dollar budget, internal and external contractors, and senior stakeholders.

Breathing New Life into Business

This program of work delivered a new network solution at one of the world’s largest global premium drinks companies spread across APAC, Europe, and The Americas regions.


It included the delivery of a network infrastructure design for the foundation of a $60M project to centralise and consolidate core applications into global data centres.


The project defined a 3-year network road-map, detailing a $10m investment plan to upgrade all LAN/WAN/Security infrastructure to improve network performance, availability and reduce OPEX.


Key deliverables included:

  • Re-alignment of the key network vendor from Nortel to Cisco eliminating the risk associated with unsupported, end-of-life hardware.

  • Design and implementation of a new $12m global WAN with increased bandwidth, availability, and reduced carriage costs.

  • Design of a new, global Cisco VOIP solution including implementing the core infrastructure at the data centre and head office and roll-out to all locations across APAC.
