Luke King is one of Australia's leading IoT Network Architects with extensive network operations and design experience across mining, energy and utilities industries. Luke comes from a Telecommunications Carrier background having worked in Europe designing and supporting complex global networks. On returning to Australia, Luke applied his telecommunications knowledge to the resource sector and worked on a number of communications and network projects from feasibility studies through to Greenfield and Brownfield operations. Luke has worked in both owner and engineering teams for mining, oil and gas, rail and port projects.
With a broad-scope technical background that spans Enterprise, Data Centre, Carrier, Wireless (LTE, WiFi, WiMax, Radio, 802.15eg), Cyber-Security, Process Control and Signalling Networks. Luke has one of the most diverse industrial network skill sets and has developed solutions for Remote Operations Centres, Mines (underground and open pit operations), Rail and Port.
